Homeowners can receive a grant of up to €1,800 towards the installation of solar PV panels. The grant is calculated based on the size of the system installed:

  • €700 per kilowatt-peak (kWp) for the first 2kWp.
  • An additional €200 for every extra kWp installed, up to a maximum of 4kWp.
  • This means a 2kWp system would receive €1,400, a 3kWp system €1,600, and a 4kWp or larger system would reach the maximum grant of €1,800
